We are happy to be able to offer an Emergency Food Pantry to help those in desperate need. The Food Pantry is open the 2nd and 4th Thursday's of each month.
Hours: 9:30am - 12:00pm and 6:00pm - 7:00pm on those days.
You must be signed in 30 minutes before closing time.
*Exception in November & December: We are closed on Thanksgiving, but are open the Tuesday beforehand. If Christmas or Christmas Eve falls on a pantry day, we will be open the Tuesday beforehand.
If this is your first visit, you need to bring three items with you:
• a picture ID• proof of residency (current public service/utility bill) You will fill out an application at your first visit and then be issued a card to bring each time. (A new application will need to be completed twice a year).
Clients may shop only once a month.
We are governed by the rules of Second Harvest and we appreciate your compliance of these rules, so that we may continue to serve you.

In Case of Inclement Weather…
The Food Pantry usually follows the Charlotte Mecklenberg School system for weather closings. To verify whether or not the Food Pantry will be open, please tune in to Channel 9—WSOC or go to www.wsoctv.com/weather and click on “closings”, as we will post any delays or cancellations with this station.

Pineville Nazarene Food Pantry is a partner agency of Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (SHFBM). SHFBM partners and distributes food and essential grocery items to approximately 550 hunger feeding agencies in 19 counties in North and South Carolina. Agencies served include emergency pantries, soup kitchens, senior programs, shelters and low-income daycares.
